Janice and I took our girls for the most fun filled day of apple picking, hay rides and pony rides along with visiting goats and bunnies, running through a corn maze and finding the perfect pumpkins in a fabulous pumpkin patch. We were given media passes to visit The Applebarn at Taves Family Farms and we purchased the pony ride passes as well as other add-ons such as additional apples and pumpkins.
Our girls are begging to go back to The Applebarn. They had such a phenomenal time. Take a look at a few photos from the day and you’ll see…
We arrived at noon and spent the rest of the day in full-out action. The girls had a blast visiting the animals, getting lost and found in the corn mazes, going on pony rides and hay rides, and jumping endlessly on an enormous bouncing pillow. Then they each picked a bag full of apples and selected a perfect pumpkin.
We literally were the last people to leave the farm as the sun set and the goats called out goodbye.
